Chairman Barry Shultz reports that on
Sunday June 10th the Reading Lodge #115 held our Elks Hoop Shoot
at Albright college. In all 32 kids showed up and 8 schools had
shooters in attendance
As an overall group the kids had a great time and we had student
helpers from the Central Catholic boys teams and the Kutztown
girls team. Without these students we would have been short of
help, as we did not have as many Elks helping as in the past.
There is great concern for our youth programs, as members seem
unwilling to step forward and chair these programs. Remember
these programs are funded by the Elks National Foundation.
